Being a dynamic organisation, the Yayasan Sabah Group has undergone several phases of development and evolution. It has played important roles in the country’s development as catalyst, facilitator, innovator and coordinator. The Yayasan Sabah Group has the track record, the capacity and the capability to deliver to the people and is in a position to function as an important development vehicle.

Established by an Enactment in 1966 and in line with its objectives, Yayasan Sabah has continued to contribute considerably and meaningfully to the development of human resources as well as to the commercial and industrial development of the State.

In line with transforming Malaysia into a developed nation by the year 2020, our mission demands an earnest effort on the part of every organization and individual in this country to contribute positively toward this noble vision. In this context, there is a need for Sabah to achieve a more competitive economy vis-a-vis the challenges of an increasingly borderless and globalised economy. Information technology today is being acknowledged as a strategic vehicle in supporting the economic growth of the state in which Yayasan Sabah and its group of companies are very much involved. Enhancing our strength with information technology will generate new ideas in research and development (R&D) providing the added impetus and winning edge as a premier organization in national development.

We will continue to play an active role in ensuring that Sabah is able to participate effectively in the mainstream of development and also contribute meaningfully to the process of nation building as envisioned in Vision 2020.
