Responsible to manage scholarships / sponsors at secondary and tertiary level. Types of scholarships offered under this programme are :

1. SECONDARY LEVEL SCHOLARSHIP

  • Peninsular Secondary School Scholarship
 

Yayasan Sabah Group offers this scholarship to students who obtain 5As in UPSR examinations to further their studies to Form 1 at boarding schools in Peninsular Malaysia. Offers will be announced on the radio and published in local dailies in October / November each year.

  • Sarawak Secondary School Scholarship
 

For students who obtain 5As in UPSR examinations to continue their studies to Form 1 at MRSM Kuching, Sarawak. Selection of applicants will be done by MARA and the State Education Department.

  • Students Exchange Programme
 

For students who obtain 5As in UPSR examinations to further their studies to Form 1 at boarding schools in Sarawak. Students studying in Sarawak are sponsored by Yayasan Sarawak while Sarawak’s students in Sabah are sponsored by Yayasan Sabah. Offers or advertisements on this will be announced on the radio and published in local dailies in October / November every year.

  • Sabah Secondary School Scholarship

- Boarding School Scholarship

   
This scholarship is offered to students who reside in boarding schools with the rate of RM540.00 – RM760.00 a year. Application forms are distributed to various schools in January / February and must be returned to Yayasan Sabah through the school’s principal.
- Daily Scholarship
 

For students not residing in boarding schools. The amount of this scholarship ranges between RM120.00 – RM340.00. Application forms are distributed in January / February and must be returned to Yayasan Sabah through the schools’ principal.

2. TERTIARY LEVEL SCHOLARSHIP

• Sabah State Excellence Award Scholarship

For Sabah students who obtain excellent results for their SPM examinations, this acts as an accolade to their success. This programme can help to spur other students to achieve excellent results.

• Russia Medical Scholarship (KURSK)
This programme is only for students taking medical courses at the State Medical University, Kursk, Russia.

Universiti Teknologi Mara (UiTM) Financial Assistance Fund

Students who are ex-SPM holders or those currently taking pre-diploma courses at UiTM can apply for this fund.The amount of the fund is RM1,000 per year and approval of continuation of the fund is given based on their academic results i.e obtaining at least CGPA 2.25 each semester.

• Institut Kemahiran Mara (IKM) Financial Assistance Fund

This financial assistance is offered to students furthering their studies at certificate level at various polytechnics in Malaysia. This financial assistance is only meant for the fees and study equipment.

  • Polytechnic Financial Assistance
 

This financial assistance is offered to students furthering their studies at certificate level at various polytechnics in Malaysia. This financial assistance is only meant for the fees and study equipment.

  • Pre-University Financial Assistance
 

For ex-SPM holders who are continuing their pre-course studies at the International Islamic University / College and Institute only.
