To support its tourism activities, IJL a company that operates the
Borneo Rainforest Lodge (BRL),was established in July 13, 1990.
BRL, an exclusive facility for nature tourism, was built in 1994,
40 minutes drive away from the world renown Danum Valley Field Centre.
Situated in deep virgin forest of Danum Valley Conservation Area
this 31-room Lodge offers guests comfortable accommodation in natural
pristine surroundings.
In
1996, BRL was awarded the The Best New Tourist Attraction in ASEAN.
Since then, it has attracted tourists from all over the world including
their Royal Highnesses The King and Queen of Sweden, and His Royal Highness
The Prince of Denmark.

Nature Tours Sdn Bhd (BNT) Borneo
Nature Tours Sdn Bhd is the sister company of Innoprise Jungle Lodge
Sdn Bhd (IJL). BNT is an inbound tour operator incorporated in 1996
conducting specialized eco-tourism tours. The company is the marketing
arm and the sole ground-handler for visitors into the Danum Valley
Conservation Areas, Borneo Rainforest Lodge.

Sabah Group 60% equity)
Inno Travel & Tour Services was established in 1990 to provide tourism
related services/tours under the product brand “SABAH HOLIDAY”.
In 1997, the company changed its name to Inno Travel & Tours Services
Sdn. Bhd. The company today owns a fleet of vehicles ranging from limousine
and saloon vehicles to tour coaches and operates boating services to
complement its tour packages.
In May 2001, ITTS was nominated “Best Tour Operator” by
the Tourism Malaysia Sabah and the Sabah Tourism Board.
ITTS main tourist markets are Taiwan, Korea, Hong Kong and China.

equity)
Set amidst 25 acres of landscaped gardens overlooking a sweeping bay,
Shangri-la's Tanjung Aru Resort
is a 5 star hotel. It is ten minutes from the city center and the Kota
Kinabalu International Airport. The Resort consists of 500 guestrooms
and suites, all with private balconies. STAR first opened for
business in 1983. In 2003, STAR
won the Prime Minister's Hibiscus Award for “Excellent Achievement
in Environmental Performance”, the first for a hotel since the
award was introduced in 1996. STAR was awarded its first
international prestigious PATA Gold Award in Corporate Environmental
Program in 2004. In the same year it was also awarded SAGA Good Food
Award two rosettes, in recognition of the quality of service, comfort
and cuisine provided by the Hotel.
